Week eight ,my first attempt at using photo shop,have used two of my own drawings,one of my daugther and one of myself over lay ed onto a collage of images from magazines that I have cut out that would ,and have started discussions about things that she would like ,A few short sentences that would convay this intereation between most parents and there children over the top ,bit rough but its a start

Idea devolopment

My idea was to have a paralleled universe using drawings of my own that came into the loop thro droping into a dark space ,but when i was with my group there where to many other great shots that i made the drawing side of the excercise only a small element in the finished project. The ablility to fade shots over each other also took the project into a different direction which was very enjoyable .

who knows why but this has been my most successful d i experience , working with a team helped with ideas and support ,there for the project has been less stressfull.But making the movie seemed not as troublesome as some of our other projects.So yaa!

Loop project is about going into the rabbit hole ,to fall into a drawing then back into the real world ,using drawings of my own and footage taken with my team ,Jodie ,Sam,and Kelly .

Image of woman and youtube video ,why?

This term in printmaking I have chosen to do my protest project on violence on woman ,the woman in white paint evokes an image of a bound body and the video shows the powerlessness of the handcuffed woman ,two images that on there own have nothing in common but in the context of violence I felt reflected well the powerlessness of the female form.

Blue oyster show

The effect of sound coming from each work as you entered,gave me the feeling of being enveloped by my surroundings ,not a comfortable experience.
Jennas work was clear and to the point but again I found the level of sound disturbing.Then to move onto the paintings which where such a contrast,so calm and Serene,it was a show for the senses.

Prada short film

Animated short film for prada directed by James Lima from windows live scene .
A highly coloured short film that despite the obvious skill it took to make fails recover from its very creepy over tones .Animals morphing into hand bags and shoes just leaves one feeling that as always (even in a animated film)people just use the natural world to beautify its self and end up being ugly.

What I think of computers

Computers scare me ,watching other people on them and the ease in which they use them confirms my belief that there must be something wrong with me.
